As part of an ongoing look at the Book of James with our bible study group, Stood Up and Standing Out, we did a recap of Chapter One and examined some of the key themes and messages the sweet Holy Spirit intended the author James to pass across.
Trials are not the same as temptations. The former is used by God as a test to gauge our readiness for the next level He has prepared for us. The latter is a blatant attempt to cause sin and make Christians fall short of God’s glory – they are not from God because we know in 3 John 2 that our heavenly Father wishes above all things that we prosper. Trials are cause for joy!
