Everything in the Bible leads to Jesus and Jesus is the way to everything God has planned for, purposed for, desired for and promised us.

Without coming through (accepting) Jesus, who died so we can get all the promises God intended for us, we cannot get access to the promises of God. So, salvation is the number one requirement to align with God’s plans for us and to get His promise. In fact, salvation is God’s number one plan for us.

But Jesus is no longer on Earth; He may appear on Earth (and it is entirely possible to have a physical encounter with Him – go ahead and ask Him for that), but all of God’s work in us on earth is done through Holy Spirit, who Jesus sent to us after He returned to Heaven following His resurrection.

Holy Spirit is the change agent of the Trinity. He makes things happen. His presence and absence have consequences. He was there at the creation of man, He was there when Jesus was conceived, He was there when Jesus started his ministry, He comes when you get saved and He will be with you when your ministry starts and throughout it. Your ministry in a nutshell is to observe and do.

Holy Spirit knows God’s mind. He knows God the Father’s desires and His promises. His “job”, so to speak, if you give Him control, is to get you where God wants you to be. He is also the Comforter: so if you give him control, you are actually taking control of your life. You may have doubts but he Has God’s peace. However, as with anything with God, you’ll need faith to grasp it. And Holy Spirit helps with that too.

Holy Spirit helps us to ‘observe and do’ the Word by revealing the Word (Jesus) to us and helping us to become like the Word. Joshua 1:8 is simply about becoming Christ-like. Everything in the Bible leads to Jesus Christ and becoming like Jesus leads to God’s promises for our lives.

Are you unsure about the Holy Spirit? Don’t be. He is to be loved and welcomed. Let him in. Feel free to message us with any questions or prayer requests you may have.

Be blessed.
