Deep at the heart of Joshua 1 vs 8 is a requirement for humility. Humility requires accepting that on the road to the prosperity of your soul, spirit and body going forward, you must do things God’s way.
First of all, God’s word must not leave your head, heart, eyes, ears and mouth. You must meditate on it daily and nightly and observe to do all that is written in it. Doing all this means that you are on God’s sure path to prosperity and you will have good success.
Meditation is about the Holy Spirit helping us with ideas of how to be like Jesus Christ. In Philippians 2:5, Holy Spirit goes further to tell us, through Apostle Paul, to have a mind ruled by humility – a mind disciplined to be humble at all times, just like Jesus’. In being humble, we see in verse 9 that God elevated Jesus to a place of the highest honor – a place of prosperity and good success.
Humility brings us a step closer to God’s love and blessings. Accept the love and accept the blessings by practicing humility from today. God bless you as you do.
