The truth about God is that He loves us and wants us to be happy, complete and successful.
The proof of this love is that He encourages us to meditate on His word day and night because He knows it is the key to success. Joshua 1:8 tells us more about this. But not only did God give us His Word, He went further to also give us His Son who is the physical incarnation of His Word. So that anyone who believes in His Son, Jesus, will not just be happy, complete and successful right now but also going forward in eternity with Him.
Salvation is the key to happiness, completeness and success. Looking at Acts 13:27, we see a situation where the rulers of Jesus’ time knew the Word as God has instructed them to do but they did not understand the meaning of it. They conspired to kill the Word, Jesus, and in so doing, accomplished God’s plan. However, they themselves were not able to grab hold of the blessing they “helped” bring about.
Today, we are all faced with a choice. We know God wants to bless us, but first we have to accept that as truth. Are you just content to accept there is a blessing or will you go further to grab hold of it? Only salvation will get it for you. Make the right choice today. God loves you.
