If you read Joshua 1:8 closely, you notice that so much of it depends on us. It depends on the actions we take, including what we observe and give significance and what we do when we are led by Holy Spirit.

On reading that verse, our roles are as follows: to ensure the Word stays in our hearts, heads, eyes, ears and mouth, to meditate on it day and night, and to observe to do all that is written in it and revealed to us from it. On the other hand, Holy Spirit’s role is to help us in our meditation and to help us in observing Jesus and doing what Jesus would do.

Note how it is YOU who is responsible for your way being prosperous and it is YOU who will have good success. No-one else. It’s all on you.

God has sent forth his word: if you do this and do that, this is the way things will be. Now, our job is to put ourselves in line with what God has said: do not let my Word depart from you, meditate on it day and night, observe to do all that is in it – and my unstoppable Word will propel you and back you up on your way to success and against anything that would hinder that success.

Simple, right?
