As part of our bible study group Stood Up and Standing Out, we spent some time looking at the Book of Malachi. The below are some of the things we learned about our worthy Father.
1. All Conquering Love
At the heart of all of God’s dealings with us is love. This love exists and flows from Him independent and regardless of our reaction or objection to it.
2. Uncompromising Consistency
We know that faith without works is dead. Now think of it this way: if the basis of our faith is a God who doesn’t change, then faith without works has always been dead whether we knew it or not.
3. Eternal Preparedness
God feels every tug on His heart. He feels every faithful obedience. He is prepared for every tug on His heart and for every faithful obedience.
4. The God of Hope
God is and that is why we can be. He speaks and that is why we can too. He hears, he sees, he thinks, he is blessed and that is why we can hear, see, think and be blessed.
