The truth has existed as long as God has existed. The truth is not just the words that come out of God’s mouth, it is God himself. So when God speaks, the truth is not coming out for the very first time, it’s just becoming more clearly defined to us.
In the Bible, the Book of Hebrews chapter 6 verse 11 explains how God made a promise to Abraham and swore by himself because there was no one greater to swear by. That scripture verse means God is the standard by which truth is measured and any other “truth” that is below the standard of God is inferior.
